Family Adoption Program & Health Camps
As per the norms of NMC, DRIEMS Institute of Health Sciences & Hospital organized many Family Adoption Programmes(FAP) and Free Health Camps by the MBBS students of batch 2023-2024 by the Department of Community Medicine. Through the Family Adoption Programme (FAP), students collect health and socioeconomic data on families, provide basic medical care, screen for diseases and educate communities. The goal is for students to act as the primary healthcare contact and drive improvements in health outcomes, sanitation and more. The FAP aims to develop student communication skills and orientation towards primary care while addressing rural health inequities.
