DRIEMS Institute of Health Sciences & Hospital, located in Tangi, Kataka, was established in 2023 with an initial intake of 100 MBBS students. With the addition of 50 seats in 2026, the total MBBS intake has now increased to 150 students. In 2025, the institution also received approval for Postgraduate (PG) seats in several specialties, further strengthening its academic and clinical education programs. This is a society based organization dedicated to transforming health through medical education, health care, medical research and community collaborations. This medical college offers its students modern and well equipped infrastructure with green lush campus that encourages innovative thinking, Cross-fertilization of ideas, Independence and Multi-interdisciplinary Strategies. This campus has also several facilities such as modern auditorium, central library, playgrounds etc. The Padmini Care Hospital(College Hospital) is a 650 bedded Multispeciality NABH Accredited Hospital.
